“As we designed and planned the breakout sessions for our Diocesan Eucharistic Congress, Catherine’s name was recommended as a strong speaker with a relevant and meaningful message. She gave two talks at our event, one on the intersection and complementarity of faith and science with anxiety, and the other on setting boundaries within relationships through the Catholic lens. Both talks were among the most well-attended at our Congress, and the response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. People left those breakout sessions empowered and uplifted with the knowledge that their faith does not have to impede or take away from the reality of mental health struggles When addressing these two highly challenging topics, Catherine not only communicated that faith and mental health can coexist, but that the Catholic faith is perfectly able to sustain and complement our human experiences. All of these messages were delivered in compassionate, faith-centered language accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Additionally, Catherine and Deacon Dave were so easy to work with throughout the planning and execution process. It was a true blessing to have Catherine speak for our Diocesan event, and I would not hesitate to welcome her back and recommend her to any parish, ministry, or Diocese looking to connect faith and mental wellness.”
